Matt began working for Pixo in January 2010, after a long, icy drive up from his native Florida. By coincidence, he met Pixo's Lori Patterson on the unbearably cold morning of his arrival (did we mention Matt was from Florida?), and the rest is history.
In a past life, Matt worked as a journalist and managing editor in Florida. In 2008, he decided to turn his hobby into a career and began freelancing as a web developer, focusing primarily on Drupal-based sites for non-profit clients. Since then, he has helped build powerful, easy-to-use sites for the Illinois Board of Examiners, WUSF Public Broadcasting, the Presbyterian Endowment Network and the Champaign County Economic Development Corp. His design portfolio includes The Gesundheit! Foundation's patchadams.org and the NOAA-sponsored qasac-americas.org.
Matt's experience in the media helps clients tell their story boldly, using the power of Drupal. How can he help you tell your story?
