Danielle Chynoweth

Vice President of Design

Danielle is manager, artist, and techie all in one. Danielle was hired as Pixo's art manager and first graphic designer in 1999. Since then she has built Pixo's Graphic Design Department from the bottom up, managed over a dozen projects, and engineered new management processes at Pixo. She has 7 years experience as a web designer and 10 years experience as an artist. She has managed projects with budgets up to $250,000

Danielle managed a year-long project for the Public Affairs office of the University of Illinois at Chicago. The UIC project involved building 7 web sites for UIC, including their main site.

Prior to Pixo she worked as a Computer Consultant at Cooper Union School of the Arts in New York City, as a Web and Graphic Designer at the Beckman Institute for Advanced Science and Technology, and as a Web Designer for the National Council of Teachers of English in Urbana.

Danielle served on the City Council in Urbana from 2001 to 2008.

Danielle holds an M.A. in Political Science from the New School for Social Research, and a B.A. in Political Science and Fine Arts from the New College in Sarasota, Florida.
