Let's talk about your projectSoftware Confidential: Classifying forced-matched sporting equipment
Summary
Our client produced a piece of sporting equipment that was rated for different usages depending on certain physical properties—think flex ratings for hockey sticks and golf clubs, or draw weights for archery bows. However, the actual measurements of final, assembled products sometimes deviated from their anticipated classification. To ensure regulatory compliance, it was critical to have a reliable system for measuring finished products and confirming or revising their classifications as needed. Pixo built a custom software solution that integrated with barcode scanners, lasers, and other hardware for this “stress testing” QA procedure. The solution automatically identified the initial product classification, took the required measurements, noted any variance, and administered a final, verified classification.
