Alex Kuhl
Alex came to Champaign-Urbana from the small southern Illinois town of Breese in 2007 to pursue a degree in computer science, fully intending to head back south when he completed it. That didn’t happen. The lure of the (relatively) “big city” kept him here.
After graduating, he worked for several years in Research Park, developing web apps for education, before moving to University of Illinois Extension. Alex joined the Pixo team in February 2017 after hearing of its welcoming environment and friendly team. His passion for technology came from an early love of video games, as is so often the case. He has a passion for problem-solving and writing readable code.
When not at work, Alex likes having game nights with friends, playing Nintendo games, getting locked in rooms with only an hour to escape, or just relaxing with his wife, Melissa, and his cats.
